About Coach Hernandez

Coach Hernandez started playing volleyball late his freshmen year of high school. After his first season of the sport he fell in love with every aspect of the game. Receiving Most Inspirational (Junior year '03-'04) and Co-MVP (Senior Year '04-'05) Coach Hernandez's passion for the sport only grew more.

After high school he decided to contact his high school coach Jason Ingalls to see if he could start coaching. After his first season assistant coaching for Xtreme Heat 16-1 in 2007 under Coach Ingalls he became the Head JV Girls Volleyball Coach and Assistant to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team at Bloomfield in the fall of 2008. Upon returning to Xtreme the following year, he was the assistant coach for Xtreme Flare 14-1 and this year is the Co-Coach for Flare 14-1, 2009-2010 season.

Coach Hernandez is Impact Certified and working toward his Non-teacher coaching certification.
