Jim began his coaching career in 1995 as a volunteer assistant coach with the Aquinas Institute girls Varsity Volleyball team. In 1996 he accepted a position as the Junior Varsity girls soccer coach at Geneseo High School, before returning to volleyball in the fall of 2000 at Honeoye Falls-Lima. Jim is currently in his 6th season as girls Varsity Volleyball Coach at HF-L.

Jim has been a head coach for Xtreme at the U13, U14, U15 and U16 levels. He is IMPACT and CAP II certified by USA Volleyball, and is currently pursuing his CAP III accreditation.
